Time to talk about your wedding entrance songs!  We are talking about bridal party entrance songs, parents entrance songs, and more.  You won't find many details about this event in your wedding planner book, so you need to check online for the most up to date information.  There are three main parts of your wedding day where you will use wedding entrance songs.  Let's talk about when these wedding songs are used and then the different styles of songs from funny to romantic and how they will apply to other parts of your wedding.  I'll also share an amazing secret technique to make your grand entrance song spectacular along with some unique wedding ideas for songs at the bottom of the page.

There are wedding ceremony entrance songs and wedding entrance songs reception. The first entrances usually take place at the ceremony and they are called processionals.  The first processional is for the parents and grand parents.  The second processional is for the bridesmaids and flower girls and ring bearers.  The third processional is for the bride.  There are a lot of traditional songs available for these entrances, such as Canon in D and the Wedding March (Here Comes The Bride).  When couples want to find the best wedding entrance songs though, they are usually searching for wedding reception entrance songs so that's what we will focus on now.

wedding entrance songs, grand entrance wedding songsAfter your guests have signed the wedding guest book and the wedding videographers are in place, ready to capture the grand entrance, the music starts and the wedding party enters the reception hall .  To choose excellent wedding party entrance songs, you have several options.  Your entire wedding party can enter couple by couple to one song, or each couple can have their own song.  Keep in mind, this is called a "grand entrance" so it would be best to choose upbeat wedding entrance songs for this part of the wedding.  Talk to your dj company and see what songs they suggest.  You don't want to kick of your celebration to songs that are similar to mother son wedding songs or touching like father daughter wedding songs.  High energy and instrumental are the best for the bridal party entrance songs, because you want the names announced as each couple enters.

The next entrance song is for the bride and groom.  When they come into the banquet hall, all the guests scream and holler and applaud.  Most couples prefer to use fun wedding entrance songs for this event, while others prefer more romantic tracks with songs like Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Time Of My Life by David Cook.  These are fine, and to each their own, but most couples want high energy, loud, and exciting!  Songs like I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas and Perfect Day by Hoku are great examples.  Some newlyweds opt for funny wedding entrance songs, like the Rocky Theme or Another One Bites The Dust.  I say, the more you match your style and personality, the better.

What About New Wedding Entrance Song Ideas?

Good question!  Here's the rub:  You can make any song into a "Grand Entrance" song!  Recently, the popular I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas has become played out...alas, it is a great wedding entrance song, but it has been used over and over and over again.  Now, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO is topping the list.  Understand that if your wedding is in six to eight months, you will most likely be SICK of that song (if you aren't already!).  So what should you do?  Wait until about two months or so before choosing this song.  If you hire a professional DJ, they can create your wedding entrance song from any song you want.  How, you ask?  It is a secret technique I give away in my Wedding Songs Timeline Planner.  But, since you're here, I'll give it to you for free.  Congratulations!

Here's the secret.  You can make just about any song a grand entrance style song, it just takes a little editing.  A technique called "cut to chorus" will turn any song into the perfect entrance song.  Use the beginning of the song for your vocal introduction.  Then, right as the bride and groom enter the room, the song cuts to the chorus, or main part of the song.  It will have a much better effect than simply playing the song from the beginning and all the way through.  Unless you're sharing background information on the wedding party, their entrance should last about 5 minutes or less, while the bride and groom grand entrance should about 1 minute or less.  Your professional wedding DJ should be able to help you with this. If not, you might want to shop around before booking them!

Do you need Indian wedding reception entrance songs?

Grand entrance songs for different cultures, such as Indian, Chinese, Jewish, and so on are not really an issue at all.  There are some standards that, if you are in the culture you are aware of, are pretty much played out and over with!  Still, you can utilize the suggestions I lay out here and in the Wedding Songs Timeline Planner (editing high energy songs to about a minute and using the "cut to chorus" technique, etc.) to make ANY song a perfect Indian grand entrance song, or any other culture, for that matter.

Now, take a look at these top wedding entrance songs to see if anything fits with your wedding.  They are some of the best wedding entrance songs for you and your wedding party.  At the bottom, I wrap up the month of September 2010 here at Weddings Everything Expert!

Weddings Everything Expert September Wrap-Up: I've been sharing a lot of helpful tips on a wide array of wedding topics here at Weddings Everything Expert.  Hopefully the tips and suggestions have helped make your wedding planning easier and less stressful! Several topics have been requests from brides who couldn't find information on these subjects, and when they did, they didn't get the whole truth..the reality.  My goal is to become the Wedding Authority where everyone can come and discover the answers to every wedding question.

For those of you researching insurance coverage for your wedding you've asked about how to compare wedding insurance and where to find cheap wedding insurance.  You've learned that it's not only about the bottom line, but figuring out what kind of policy and coverage you need to feel protected.  Some of you asked about affordable wedding invitations, whether they were beach wedding invitations or save the date wedding magnets.  You found out that invitations are incredibly affordable and all of these products can and should be personalized.  Some of you asked about the dress, either searching for mother of the bride outfitsmother of the groom dresses, , plus size bridesmaid dresses, and even plus size wedding dresses.  You've asked about these things sheepishly, and I want everyone to know, eighty percent of women out there are size 12 and above!  There is nothing wrong with needing a full-figured mother of the groom dress!

Price and budgets have been high on the request list of topics to cover.  Questions about how much does a wedding videographer normally charge and what are typical wedding photography prices have been raised.  I've gone into detail about how to set your budgets for these wedding planning items and if you follow the advice on these areas, you should find what you want at the best possible price.  Coming up, I'll be researching and reporting on all the cheap wedding ideas I can find.  So stay tuned, keep reading, and your Weddings Everything Expert will (eventually!) answer all of your wedding questions!
